Playnote: Collaborative Doodling and the Future of Work

Due to the complexity (and chaos!) of the challenges humanity faces, we must learn how to think better as a collective. ‘Doodling’ is the act of making spontaneous marks to support cognition and it’s a deceptively simple tool. Even rudimentary visual mark-making can unleash powerful thinking moves. Doodling and “infodoodling” involve visual-thinking practices that help us focus and more deeply engage so we can detect patterns, shift perspectives, identify possibilities, and innovate. When we doodle collaboratively—working as a team to map and solve problems—this impact is amplified. Join Sunni for an interactive playnote that takes you on a journey starting with basic visual language and moving all the way to collaborative doodling to make the world a better place. Be prepared to improvise and not-know! Outcomes cannot be predicted and your hands will get dirty. Artistic talent is discouraged. 😉
