STLI Launches Online Course Development Seminar
March 7th, 2023 • Bethany Gardner
STLI will support development of 5 new hybrid and online courses this spring. The Online Course Development Seminar will run from February to May.
“We have two main goals with the seminar. The first is making sure that new online and hybrid courses at William & Mary are consistently high quality and accessible for all types of learners. The second is making the course design process manageable–it takes a lot of work (and time!) to create a great online or hybrid course, so we try to provide all of the resources and support our faculty members need to build a course they’re proud to share with students.” – Diana Theisinger, Digital Learning Program Manager
Offerings being developed this semester include opportunities for museum educators, students participating in internships, a new course for faculty who want to support emerging writers in their classes, and two courses for the DC summer session.
