Faculty discovered how to effectively mentor their undergraduate students in preparing proposals for the Charles Center Summer Research Grant applications, which were due February 17th. This session provided practical tips for crafting clear, compelling proposals and translating specialized research for general audiences. Participants also gained insights into how faculty reviewers evaluated submissions, helping their students stand out.

The feedback provided to students and the feedback received from them were often the keys to developing a successful teaching & learning environment. Whether you were a student or an instructor, how you gave and sought feedback, as well as how you processed and acted on it, were essential skills that were often overlooked. Participants joined us for “Feedback Literacy for Everyone” and explored how meaningful feedback enhanced engagement, deepened learning, and fostered improved teaching.
