Students learn better when they can connect as a community, but many courses don’t naturally lend themselves to the kind of one-on-one connection or group interaction that can be so important to a healthy classroom culture. In this Quick Bite, STLI’s Mike Blum discussed some of the benefits of using video discussion boards, how to best organize assignments to get the most out of them, and offered recommendations on which platforms are best for various contexts.
