Academic Innovation

Academic innovation initiatives at STLI explore new or novel approaches and solutions to practical challenges of teaching in higher education. Our stage-gate model prioritizes human-centered processes for building and scaling innovation at William & Mary.

University Teaching & Learning Projects

The University Teaching & Learning Project (UTLP) brings together a cross-disciplinary group of faculty members to explore innovative methods, problems of practice, and new approaches to teaching at William & Mary. The call for particpation in the UTLP goes out in late summer.

Educational Technology

We partner with Information Technology, W&M Libraries, and faculty innovators to enrich our digital learning environment through edtech pilots, consultations, and use-cases for integrating technology in teaching.
